Pension Commission, NSIWC Deepens Understanding Of CPS ln Kano

The National Pension Commission (PenCom) in collaboration with the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), has held a landmark sensitization workshop in Kano State.

The workshop was to deepen understanding of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) among pensioners and stakeholders.

With over ₦25 trillion in pension assets and bold reforms underway, PenCom reaffirms its commitment to dignity in retirement and inclusive national development.

Key Reforms include:

✅Pension Boost 1.0: Enhancing monthly pensions for over 241,000 retirees under Programmed Withdrawal.

✅ Zero Waiting Time for Payments: Immediate pension access upon retirement.

✅Free Health Insurance for Retirees: Starting with lower-income pensioners later this year.
