The workforce of the Guardian Trust Insurance Company Limited, GTI, now known as Insurance PHB, has increased by over 100 per cent. The company made strategic appointments into key positions with the goal of strengthening various aspect of its operation.
Dan Okehi, executive vice chairman and chief executive officer of the company, said that the appointments which were made after an intense talent hunt were centered on a combination of factors such as youth experience, technical skill and performance. The essence of such guidelines, Okehi stated, was to strengthen the company’s human capital and improve its technology driven operational system, health insurance project, oil and gas division so as to achieve speed and higher quality service delivery of a world-class status.
Also, going by the quality of new employees, Insurance PHB, said that it is poised to drive its retail insurance and mass marketing at all levels as well as manage the company’s brand, corporate image and public relations portfolios. In addition, Okehi explained that the company will give attention to its branch network in order to have presence in many states in the country while “consolidating their regional activities, cashing in on the national presence of their parent Bank PHB.”
