Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers have congratulated the Governor Elect of Lagos State, Mr. Babjide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on his re-election as Governor of the State.
In a letter signed by the President of the Council of Registered insurance brokers, Mr. Rotimi Edu, mni, made available to the media, the Council noted that the election of Mr. Sanwo-Olu did not come as a surprise, going by the sterling accomplishments of the Governor during his out-going tenure in office.
The Council noted that Lagos State Government has continued to sustain the enviable tradition of involving the insurance industry in the government’s risk management strategies which claimed had put the state in the front row of insurance-friendly states in Nigeria.
Mr. Edu, who pledged the continuous support of Insurance Brokers to the Lagos State Government, admonished other states to emulate the State by embracing insurance in their economic strategies in order to achieve the desired transformation.
Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is a Fellow of the Council.
