As a result of its outstanding performance recorded last year, Godlink Insurance has given a bonus issue of 339, 631, 000 shares in proportion of one to 10 ordinary shares to its shareholders. Godlink recorded premium income less reinsurance of N2.02 billion, representing an increase of 11.29 per cent over the figure of N1.82 billion in 2005. Also, the company recorded profit before tax of N581.62 million, representing 10.6 per cent over the figure of N527.21 million in 2005.
After provision had been made for taxation as required by law, the company recorded net profit of N516.49 million, representing 10.57 per cent increases over N467.1 million achieved in 2005.
