Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, for example, is a physicist and cancer researcher whose ground breaking approach to employing laser-activated nanoparticles to target and eliminate cancer cells has changed treatment strategies worldwide.
In 2016, Green founded the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation, aiming to improve cancer treatment effectiveness with fewer side effects and make it accessible and affordable for all.
