Eduardo Camavinga has signed a new Real Madrid contract which will run until 2029 with £870 million release clause to follow in the footsteps of Brazilian duo Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes.
Camavinga arrived at Real Madrid in 2021, aged just 18, and has won 6 trophies in his first two seasons: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 1 La Liga, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 Spanish Super Cup and at just 20 years of age, he’s already made 114 appearances in the Real Madrid jersey.
Eduardo Camavinga was shortlisted for the Golden Boy in 2021 and 2022, and for the Kopa Trophy in 2022 and 2023 with the holder Jude Bellingham is current teammate.
Camavinga’s new deal lasts the longest, with Vinicius Jr committed until 2027 and Rodrygo and Militao penned in until 2028 as Madrid are increasingly wary of the threat posed by Saudi Arabian clubs, especially after Al-Ittihad took Karim Benzema off their hands this summer with a £86m-per-season offer.
