National Insurance Conference 2023 kicks off today at Abuja Continental Hotel with pre conference cocktail.
The three day event with the theme: “Redefining Safety – Insurance Solutions for Public Buildings and Buildings under Construction in Nigeria”, is expected to change insurance landscape in Nigeria.
Special Guest of Honour for the conference is the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu and Guest Speaker, Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Also expected at the event are the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, the chief host and Chairman Heirs Holdings and UBA Group, Tony Elumelu who will be the Theme paper presenter.
One of the highlights of the Confab will be the launching of a groundbreaking initiative by NAICOM – the Construction Safety Assurance Program.
In collaboration with leading insurance providers, 2023 NIC will offer tailor-made insurance products for construction projects, ensuring that public buildings and those under construction are adequately protected while adhering to stringent safety standards.
The annual conference will also include panel discussions with influential figures from government agencies, the construction sector, and the insurance industry. These discussions aim to forge collaborations and partnerships to address the unique challenges faced in Nigeria’s construction industry.
