The 2021 Professionals’ F (orum of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) kicks off today in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Theme of the annual forum this year is ‘Nigerian Insurance Industry in the digital age’.
The event which will be declared open by the Governor of Ogun State, Gov. Abiodun will hold at Park lnn by Radisson.
Also, the Forum is expected to have in attendance the Ccommissioner for Insurance, Mr Sunday Thomas, who will give the keynote address, leaders of trade associations and Insurance professionals.
Topics lined up for discussion include lnsurance Development ln A Digital World: Current Realities, by CEO Finterate Projects Nigeria, Mr Ekerete Ola Gam-Ikon; Payment System And Insurance Industry: The Viable Way forward by CEO Precise Financial Systems Limited, Dr Yele Okeremi.
Others are, Technology And Innovation In The Insurance Sector by Deputy Director and Head of Information Technology, National Insurance Commission, Mr Abiodun Aribike; Cyber Risk: Implications For Businesses And Insurance As A Business Solution by CEO, New Usual Limited, Mr Dare Adeyeri and Health Nental Wellness And Total Wellbeing Talk by Consultant Psychiatrist, Mental Health Advocate and Anthropologist, Dr Adeoye Oyewole.
The event took off yesterday with a golf tournament and courtesy visit to the Alake of Egbaland.
